Inauguration of Golden Jubilee
August 06, 2026 was marked as an important day in the history of the Eparchy of Jagdalpur. On this day, during the Holy Eucharistic celebration, a Jubilee Candle was lit by our beloved Bishop Mar Joseph Kollamparampil CMI along with Fr. Shinod Choorapadath (Syncellus), Fr. Thomas Valavananickal CMI (Provincial, Nirmal Province Jagdalpur) and Sr. Jancy DBS (Superior General, Deenbandhu Samaj) as a symbol of the inauguration of the Golden Jubilee of the Eparchy of Jagdalpur (commemorating its elevation from an Exarchate to an Eparchy).
After the Holy Eucharist, a gathering of all the clergy, religious sisters of the Eparchy of Jagdalpur was held under the leadership of Mar Joseph Kollamparampil CMI. The gathering was enriched by an input session by Rev. Fr. Cyriac Kochalumkal CST, a powerpoint report presentation on the various activities of our Eparchy by Rev. Fr. Josey Thamarassery CMI (Proto Syncellus), through PPT followed by the group discussion.
